Renee joined the veterinary profession 38 years ago and has proudly worked in General Practice, Pathology, Cardiology, Surgery, Urgent Care, ER, and in an ER/Specialty hospital. Renee and her husband rescue animals who have been down on their luck, providing lifelong care and a final, loving home—no matter what challenges they may have. She currently has three dogs, two cats, and a horse, though many other animals have joined her crew over the years, including goats, a potbelly pig, rabbits, severely abused horses, and many more.
The veterinary profession truly defines who Renee is, and she couldn’t imagine working in any other field. She has been with VCA since 2011, initially joining as a technical supervisor (as she is a registered veterinary technician) before transitioning into a hospital manager role. Although her role has changed over time, she remains committed to helping animals in need.
