A delta native, Ashley grew up in Rio Vista, CA, and graduated from Western Career College in 2009 with an Associates of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. After college Ashley traveled the West Coast working in veterinary hospitals as far north as Seattle, WA, and as far south as Barstow, CA. Prior to moving to Antioch, Ashley returned home to Rio Vista and spent four years as a volunteer fire fighter. She joined VCA Antioch Animal Hospital Deer Valley in June of 2013 and enjoys dentals, emergency medicine, blood transfusions, and wound care. Her dream is to volunteer with a disaster response team to provide care and first aid to pets and wild life who have been impacted by natural disasters. 

Ashley and her husband share their home with a Belgian Malinois named Hawk, their cats, Major Melissa Meow, Carroll Shelby, and Callie, and a flock of chickens. When she is not caring for her patients, she is working in her garden and hiking with Hawk.
