Joining VCA Antioch Animal Hospital – Deer Valley in 2023 as a veterinary technician, Rachael is actively working towards her license as a registered veterinary technician through Penn Foster. Growing up in Concord, Rachael has always enjoyed the unspoken bond between humans and animals, which led to her career choice. Her favorite part of the job is assisting with C-sections and caring for the newborns, and overall finds surgery to be the most interesting. At home, Rachael has a human baby boy, along with her pets (a pit bull mix and two house cats), and a husband she enjoys fishing and kayaking with when time permits.
