Dr. Sievers joined VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital in 2022.  Originally from the southern suburbs of Chicago, he attended the University of Illinois for both undergrad and vet school, graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. After starting off in general practice, he began doing emergency medicine full time in 2000. His professional interest include all aspects of emergency and critical care medicine, with a particular interest in toxicology.

Dr. Sievers lives in the western suburbs with his wife Deborah and their dog, a pit bull/retriever cross named Bagel. When not practicing medicine, his interests include cooking and food science, computer gaming, and science fiction.
