VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital's purpose is to make a significant positive difference in the lives of the people and animals that it serves. Our hospital provides state-of-the-art health care services for companion animals in a compassionate fashion and in a way that satisfies our clients' needs and wishes. VCA Arboretum View establishes the standard of care in the Chicagoland area and serves as a resource for the veterinary community.
Our doctors work closely together to ensure your pet receives the best care available. We have specialists in critical care, dermatology, internal medicine, interventional radiology, neurology, and surgery.
Our hospital is equipped with in-house stat laboratories, which allow our doctors to quickly perform many diagnostic tests to achieve an accurate and rapid diagnosis. This is especially important in critically ill animals and those requiring immediate or emergency treatment.
We are proud to be one of the few hospitals in Illinois offering interventional radiology. Interventional radiology has been a part of human medical care for more than 20 years, but this approach has been applied only recently to veterinary patients. Interventional radiology uses advanced imaging techniques such as fluoroscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, as well as CT, and MR imaging to access different areas and structures of the body for therapeutic treatment.
We are now also offering hemodialysis, hemoperfusion, and therapeutic plasma exchange for AKI, intoxications, and immune mediated disease patients patients respectively. VCA Arboretum View is one of two hospitals in the area to offer these services.
If you have any questions or concerns about your pet, please don't hesitate to contact us.
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the standard for quality veterinary care for companion animals. As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.
