Dr. Brittany Abrams is a Chicago native and grew up in Wilmette. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in biology and animal sciences and attended veterinary school at Cornell University. Dr. Abrams completed her small animal rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center, in Manhattan, NY, followed by a surgery specialty internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, in Houston, TX. She then completed her surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Abrams's professional interests include wound management and reconstructive surgery, surgical oncology, ACL surgery, and minimally-invasive surgery including arthroscopic and laparoscopic procedures.
In her free time, Dr. Abrams enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She has a little mutt-mix named Mushu, who also occupies a significant portion of her free time. She is very excited to be back home!
