Angie’s background in animal training and behavior shapes the way she approaches patient care today. She has worked closely with dogs in both training and competitive environments, developing a strong understanding of how animals respond to stress, handling, and new situations. That experience allows her to approach each patient thoughtfully, helping them feel more comfortable and supported during their visit.
“I enjoy being a voice for animals and helping them as best as we can.”
With strong interests in animal behavior, radiology, and puppy training, Angie takes a careful and attentive approach to her work. She is currently working toward becoming a certified veterinary technician and has completed advanced training in areas such as anesthesia, radiology, dental care, and patient handling, allowing her to support a wide range of patient needs.
She is also actively involved in her community as a K9 handler with the New Jersey Rescue and Recovery K9 Unit, where her dog is a certified wilderness search and rescue K9. This experience reflects her dedication to training, discipline, and working with animals in high-trust environments, shaping the calm, focused, and attentive approach she brings to every patient she cares for.
“My approach is to help pets feel calm and comfortable so they can trust the care we provide.”
Angie looks forward to continuing to support pets and families in Pen Argyl and the surrounding Slate Belt communities as part of the AVH team, while continuing to grow her skills and education to better serve the patients in her care. She is committed to ongoing learning and applying that knowledge in a meaningful way, helping ensure every pet receives thoughtful, attentive care backed by both experience and continued growth.
