Brittany is a veterinary technician at VCA AVH Animal Hospital in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, where she supports patient care with a strong focus on anesthesia, surgery, and patient safety. Known for her attention to detail and commitment to staying current with evolving veterinary medicine, she brings both technical skill and a thoughtful, informed approach to every patient she supports. Brittany earned her Associate in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2017, graduating with honors. She completed both large animal and small animal externships, including her small animal externship at VCA AVH, where she later joined the team to continue her career in veterinary medicine.
“Veterinary medicine is always growing and changing, and I enjoy learning what is new and best so I can provide the highest level of care possible.”
With strong interests in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, phlebotomy, and pain management, Brittany focuses on applying current, evidence-based practices to her work. She has completed advanced training and certifications in anesthesia, life support, cold laser therapy, and pet nutrition, strengthening her ability to support patients across a wide range of care needs.
This training allows her to play an important role in patient safety during procedures, aid in comfort and recovery, and help guide care decisions that impact a pet’s long-term health and quality of life. She values continuing education and enjoys sharing what she learns with both her team and clients, helping others better understand the care their pets receive.
She believes that high-quality care comes from both strong medical knowledge and clear communication with clients. This approach helps create an experience that feels both supportive and confident.
“My goal is to provide the best care possible while helping clients feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.”
Brittany looks forward to continuing to support pets and families in Pen Argyl and the surrounding Slate Belt communities as part of the AVH team, bringing a commitment to ongoing learning and high-quality medical care to every patient she supports. She is dedicated to continually strengthening her skills so she can deliver safe, precise care, improve outcomes, and give clients confidence that their pet is in capable, trusted hands.
