Dr. Kristyn Pendley joined VCA Bakersfield Animal Hospital as a relief doctor in December of 2019. In August of 2021 she joined the team as a full-time Associate Veterinarian. Born and raised in Bakersfield, she earned her Bachler of Science degree in Animal Biology from University of California, Davis, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. Her professional interests include emergency and critical care and ophthalmology.
Prior to working at VCA Bakersfield Animal Hospital, Dr. Pendley worked full time at a general practice in Bakersfield. She is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.
Dr. Pendley and her husband enjoy ski trips with their friends and family. They have two dogs both pit bull mixes named Nash and Ruby. In her spare time, Dr. Pendley enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
