Dr. Abrielle Goodwein is a California native and grew up along the central coast. She received a degree in Biological Sciences from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in a medical/research capacity with species of all kinds including companion animals, marine mammals, birds and urban wildlife. She has interests in small animal emergency medicine and wildlife/zoological medicine. She enjoys being outdoors or by the ocean and in her free time she enjoys going to concerts, collecting records/vinyl, watching hockey, or spending time with her one-eyed cat, Celia, and shelter mutt, Ozzy.
