Allen Simon
Veterinary Specialist DVM, MS, DACVS-SA
Dr. Allen Simon is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons – Small Animal (DACVS-SA) who originates from the San Diego, CA, and Phoenix, AZ, regions. He received his undergraduate and master’s degrees, and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2007, 2008, and 2013 respectively. He then moved to the South Shore region of Boston, MA, where he completed a small animal internship in medicine and surgery at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital. After completing a one-year surgical internship at VCA Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles, he returned to Colorado, to complete his 3-year small animal surgical residency at Colorado State University.

Dr. Simon enjoys all aspects of surgery but has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgeries (single and multi-port access systems), fracture repair and cruciate ligament disease repair, reconstructive surgery, and surgical oncology.

In his free time, Dr. Simon enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, cooking, traveling, gardening and spending time with his friends and his cat, Belle.
