Ashley joined our team as a veterinary assistant in 2023 and has been keeping busy ever since. She is currently attending Midwestern State University, where she's working toward her bachelor's degree in biology and is set to graduate in May 2026. Her long-term goal is to become a veterinarian specializing in small animal and general practice—so yes, she's collecting knowledge now like it's going out of style.
Before joining the VCA family, Ashley spent time volunteering at local clinics and shelters, proving early on that free time is overrated when there are animals to help. She is extremely dedicated to her academics and is always looking to learn more, which makes her both an excellent team member and the go-to for random animal facts.
Outside of work, Ashley occasionally remembers to take a break and spend time with her family. While she loves all animals, she has a very clear favorite—cats have her whole heart (and probably run her household).
