B'Ela is a veterinary assistant at VCA Callfield Animal Hospital with five years of experience and a bachelor's degree in animal sciences from LSU. She began her veterinary career at Banfield Pet Hospital in Baton Rouge in 2022 before bringing her skills to the VCA Callfield team in 2024.
A true jack-of-all-trades, B'Ela is versatile in every corner of the hospital—you'll find her helping at reception, assisting in appointments, or jumping into surgery without missing a beat. No matter where she is, her focus is always on making sure patients are well cared for and clients feel supported.
B'Ela has a well-known (and fully embraced) obsession with Dachshunds, and her long-term plan is to own four of them—all named after hobbits from The Lord of the Rings. She's already started her collection with her dachshund, Pippin, who shares the spotlight at home with her cat, Bean.
Outside of work, B'Ela enjoys hiking, reading, and a healthy amount of doom scrolling. She's also a fan of period dramas—especially Bridgerton—which pairs nicely with her appreciation for a little drama (on screen, not in the hospital).
