Bernadette has worked with VCA Colonial since 2014. Her lifelong love of animals led her to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Animal and Veterinary Science from Clemson University and she is currently a Master's student, earning her MSc in Animal Welfare and Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania. You may see Bernadette when you bring your pet in for wellness care, taking your pet in for an ultrasound, or helping out in one of our other departments. Outside of work, Bernadette loves spending time with her family and in nature, painting, reading, and learning about animals. Bernadette adopted the beautiful Yoshimi at 8 weeks of age from the Tompkins County SPCA and she has been the greatest dog/roommate/loved one for the past 16 years.
