Jessica began her veterinary career in 1995 as a kennel assistant and worked her way into hospital management. She has been with VCA Columbia Hickory Ridge since May 2006. Away from the hospital, Jessica enjoys spending time with family, continuing her yoga practice and training, reading, hiking, and crafting.
"Animals have always been a part of my life from dogs and cats to ducks, goats, and rabbits. Once I entered the veterinary field as a kennel assistant, I knew my career would remain in veterinary medicine for life. Over the years, I have learned so much about medicine, our pets well-being, and the positive impact we can have on the lives of pets and their owners. As a hospital manager, I have the extraordinary opportunity to see my staff learn and grow in their knowledge and skill sets, and creating bonds of trust with our patients and clients. I consider myself fortunate to love what I do."
