Dr. Kent Jones grew up in Taylorsville, Utah. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Animal Dairy and Veterinary Science at Utah State University (Go Aggies!) graduating magna cum laude. He continued to pursue his vocation, finishing at Utah State and Washington State University. There he earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree through the WIMU Regional Program. He moved back to Utah in early 2022 with his wife, Connie, son and two daughters, and their bearded dragon, dog, cat and leopard geckos.  

With a strong desire to provide the best care he can to all of his patients, Dr. Jones has a special interest in small animal medicine, reptile and small mammal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Jones also loves spending time with his family and friends. In his free time, he loves getting outside: hiking, wake boarding, snowboarding, riding wave runners, or taking it easy at home playing with his kids.
