Dr. Porter was born and raised in Utah. He graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix with a Bachelors in Biology. In 1998 he graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing in Broomfield, Colorado for 2 years, he moved back to Utah. Dr. Porter joined VCA Cottonwood Animal Hospital in 2007. In practice he has a special interest in ultrasound and medicine as well as surgery. When not at VCA Cottonwood, Dr. Porter enjoys time with his family. Together they play the Wii, camp, hike, backpack, ski and make music. They all serve together at the Rock Church.
