Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. Devin Carney earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. She joined the VCA Cottonwood team in 2017, bringing with her a wealth of experience and passion to both emergency medicine and general practice.
Dr. Carney's lifelong love for animals led her to begin working in veterinary medicine at just 16 years old, starting as a kennel technician. Ever since, she has been devoted to caring for pets and the people who love them. She finds the most joy in building lasting relationships with pet owners and working together to make thoughtful, compassionate decisions that support their pets' health and quality of life.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Carney enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and hiking. She and her husband share their home with three beloved pets: Daphne, a Doberman/Kelpie mix; Rosie, a calico cat; and Rocky, a grey tabby cat.
