Dr. Emily Butts is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. She and her husband moved to White Plains in 2023. They have two cats, Stanley and Sable. In her free time, she enjoys cross-stitching, baking, reading, doing yoga, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Butts is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She fell in love with the field due to the power of the human-animal bond and the ability to protect and support that bond as your friendly neighborhood veterinarian. One of her passions is animal behavior and providing fear-free medical care for patients whenever possible. She is also very passionate about senior and geriatric pet care, as well as compassionate end-of-life care. She is Level 2 Senior Dog Veterinary Certified from the Senior and Geriatric Dog Society and Fear Free Certified.
She has an additional interest in surgery, preventive medicine, pain management, and dermatology.
