Ultrasound is an important diagnostic tool because it allows us a look into your pet's internal organs, chest and abdomen without surgery or sedation. It is invaluable for making treatment decisions for various types of conditions. We perform in-house ultrasounds for guided cystocentesis and basic screenings.
In most cases, ultrasound is relatively brief and your pet is able to go home the very same day. Most importantly, though, an ultrasound helps us make an accurate diagnosis of your pet's condition and provides effective treatment recommendations.
