Dr. Benson is originally from Naperville, IL and graduated from the University of Illinois in 2008. She practiced in Missouri for 6 years before joining the VCA team in 2014. She is very interested in reptiles and avian exotics, dentistry and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Benson enjoys horseback riding, outdoor activities, reading, music and sports. She and her husband share their home with 2 dogs, a cat, a horse, goats, and chickens.
