We maintain patients on gas anesthesia and concentrate oxygen so there is always an endless supply. The surgery veterinary technician can review blood pressure, heart rate, oxygenation, temperature and color with our monitoring equipment constantly throughout the procedures.
Our veterinarians perform surgeries every day, and they may range from the routine, elective surgeries such as spays and neuters to more complex procedures, including emergency Caesarean sections and the repair of broken bones. We staff and equip our hospitals to execute most any surgery that is necessary for the patient.
A list of some of the orthopedic surgeries we routinely complete for patients are: anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair, luxating patella, external skeletal fixation, tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO), femoral head and neck osteotomy (FHO), and toggle pin hip luxation repair, amputation, joint arthrodesis and others.
Our veterinarians are equally skilled at performing soft tissue surgeries such as a spay, neuter, stomach torsion repair, mass removal, spleen removal, mastectomy, wound repair, abcess repair, exploratory and more.
