André Evans joined VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center in May 2024, stepping into the vital role of Lead Veterinary Assistant on the overnight shift in the ER/ICU. As a team leader, André focuses on guiding his colleagues and ensuring smooth workflow during the hospital's busiest hours, providing exceptional care to patients and support to the team.
André's professional interests include emergency medicine, critical care, and ultrasonography, where his skills and passion for veterinary medicine truly shine. He is also deeply interested in wildlife conservation and aspires to work with wildlife as a Game Warden in the near future, combining his love for animals with his commitment to protecting and preserving their natural habitats.
Outside of work, André is a sports enthusiast who loves playing football, basketball, and softball and enjoys watching all major sports, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. In his free time, he stays active by going to the gym, snowboarding, riding his motorcycle, and exploring the outdoors. Traveling and embracing new adventures are also key parts of his life outside the hospital.
