Dannielle Reynolds has been an integral part of the VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center team since 2005. She began her career as a surgery technician, quickly rising to become a lead on the surgery team, where she dedicated 14 years to providing exceptional patient care. Following her passion for emergency medicine, Dannielle transitioned to lead the Emergency/ICU team before moving into her current role as lead client service representative in 2021.
Dannielle earned her registered veterinary technician (RVT) certification in 2008 through the Veterinary Allied Staff Education (VASE) alternate route program. Her professional interests include the fast-paced and impactful medicine practiced in emergency care, as well as the opportunity to assist clients during times of crisis. Outside of work, Dannielle enjoys life on her property with her diverse group of animals, including two horses, two large Nubian goats, a blue heeler, and a cat. She loves horseback riding, camping with her horses, and maintaining her home and property.
Fun Fact: Dannielle volunteers with the San Diego County Department of Animal Services to go behind fire lines for large animal rescues during brush and wildfires. She also helps train and educate Cal Fire teams on handling equine and rider emergencies in rural areas, sharing her expertise to aid in critical situations.
Dannielle's dedication to both animals and their owners, coupled with her community involvement, makes her an invaluable part of the VCA EAHRC team.
