Jamie Gordon, RVT, joined our team in 2019 as a kennel aide and quickly demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill. Through hard work and a passion for veterinary medicine, Jamie advanced to become a Lead Technician in 2021. In her current role, she specializes as a Laboratory Technician, focusing on teaching, organizing, and refining our testing protocols to ensure that results are obtained as accurately and efficiently as possible.
Jamie earned her B.S. in Biology from UC San Diego in 2019 and achieved her Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification in 2022. Her professional interests include emergency medicine and diagnostic imaging, where she enjoys interpreting imaging to pinpoint issues and develop health solutions for patients. Jamie finds immense fulfillment in helping sick pets recover and witnessing the joy it brings to their families when their beloved companions are back to their vibrant selves.
Outside of work, Jamie is an avid soccer fan and a proud supporter of the San Diego Wave team.
