Team Spotlight
Joan Nicholas started with VCA in 2001 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. In 2014 she became our Hospital Manager. Joan received her bachelor's degree in Business Communications and Organization at North Carolina State University, and her Associate's of Veterinary Technology in 2001 at Cosumnes River College. Throughout her career in veterinary medicine, she has always been most passionate about being the pets' advocate and creating a bond with the pet and client. In her personal life, Joan loves to travel and spend time with her husband, Tom, and dog, Cosmo, and cats, Ocelot and Sprocket.
