Tone Johansson became a licensed veterinary technician in 2025 after graduating from Northern Virginia Community College. She began her career in veterinary medicine in 2020 and joined VCA Healthy Paws in 2022. While in school, Tone discovered she especially enjoyed animal dentistry and the mathematical side of medicine.
Before pursuing veterinary medicine, Tone earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Oslo University in Norway, where she was born and raised. After moving to the United States in 2001, she worked as an assistant midwife for seven years.
Tone is married and has three children. She and her husband live in Bristow, where she enjoys painting and spending time with her family and pets. She is fluent in Norwegian and occasionally has the opportunity to use it with clients at VCA Healthy Paws.
