Dr. Christopherson grew in the west Texas town of El Paso, she completed her undergraduate degree with the University of Texas at El Paso and then moved to Arizona for veterinary school at Midwestern University. After graduation in 2021, she decided to stay in Arizona and work in the community for a few years and although Arizona will always have a special place in her heart, it never quite felt like home, so back home to Texas she came! Dr. Christopherson loves working in general practice because she gets to watch her patients grow from the puppy and kitten stages all the way into their senior years while building relationships with their owners that love them along the way! Dr. Christopherson and her fiancé have two crazy golden retrievers (Daisy and Tucker) along with one cool cat (Jack), there is never a dull moment in their house with those three! On her days off she enjoys going for hikes and exploring new places with her fiancé and Daisy and Tucker. She also enjoys lounging on the couch and watching the latest TLC show, it's all about balance for her! Dr. Christopherson looks forward to meeting all of Hometown's current clients and pets along with welcoming any new clients and pets along the way!
