Meghan Minor McMillin, Medical Director

DVM

Dr. Minor grew up in Houston and prior to vet school attended Trinity University in San Antonio for her undergraduate studies. Before joining the professionals here at VCA Hometown Animal Hospital, Meghan worked for four years at a small animal practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has a special interest in small animal internal medicine as well as wound care and pain management. She loves her profession and the art of veterinary medicine. The caring staff, great clients and amazing pets at VCA Hometown make her every day exciting and rewarding.

Dr. Minor's devotion to animals is evident not only in her love of veterinary medicine, but also in her personal life. She has boisterous Terrier mix named Roscoe and a playful Chocolate Lab named Dakota. She also loves to hang out with her affectionate, yet independent, tabby cat named Scatter.

Dr. Minor and her husband love participating in local activities in the Pflugerville neighborhoods with their two young daughters. She and her family love to travel often and Dr. Minor has visited over 40 of the 50 states. She loves being here at home in central Texas with friends and family. Any chance she has, Dr. Minor is by the water, enjoying swimming, kayaking, or just playing with friends, family and pets.
