Dr. Marlyn Girgis attended California Polytechnic Pomona University and received a BS in Animal Science. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in surgery and dermatology.

Dr. Girgis joined VCA La Mirada team in 2015 as an associate veterinarian. In 2021, her professionalism, guidance and leadership earned her the distinguished title of Medical Director of VCA La Mirada Animal hospital. Her top priorities are treating all patients and clients with care and compassion, ensuring the patient's well-being.

Dr. Girgis and her husband reside in Orange County with their daughter, Zoey, and their standard poodle named Kohl. Dr. Girgis enjoys spending time with family, traveling, home design and shopping.
