Kelly grew up in Blue Ash, Ohio and attended Sycamore High School. After graduation, she began classes at the University of Cincinnati for Veterinary Technology. Kelly began working at Madeira Veterinary Hospital in 1998 as a receptionist and moved up to a Veterinary Technician position after graduation in 1999. Kelly became the Senior Veterinary Technician in 2001 and has special interest in veterinary dentistry.

Kelly has two children and one mixed-breed dog named Gilbert. She enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her family.
