Dr. Nina Mahoney earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She attended veterinary school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, then completed a rotating internship and remained on as an emergency clinician at Animal Emergency Medical Center in Torrance.

She has a special interest in small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency and critical care, and she is involved with several rescue organizations, including Vanderpump Dogs and California Wildlife Center. She is a California native, and enjoys going to the ballet and spending time with family and friends.
