Dr. Olson grew up in a small rural community in central California, where she developed her love of animals. Her desire to help animals and their owners led her to veterinary school. She attended UC San Diego for her undergraduate education and knew San Diego would eventually be her new hometown. After graduating from veterinary school, she returned to San Diego where she lives with her family. Dr. Olson has been Medical Director at VCA Market Street since 2016. Prior to that, she completed an internship at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center in Mission Valley, and was an associate veterinarian at VCA Hillcrest since 2005.
