Melissa has been with VCA since 2003. She grew up in Bucks County and still resides in the area. She lives at home with her three pups, Arlo, Izzy, and Bella, and her cat, KC. Melissa started working as a kennel assistant and eventually became a veterinary assistant. She went to school to become a veterinary technician but eventually switched majors to Criminal Justice. She then went on to intern at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center, where they train dogs for search and rescue and police work. There, she learned positive reinforcement training, which is another passion of Melissa's. Melissa has brought that knowledge here to VCA Neshaminy where she now is running puppy obedience classes. Melissa is also now working towards her certification as a veterinary technician. In her free time, Melissa enjoys playing softball, listening to country music, and teaching her dog, Arlo, new tricks.
