At VCA North Division Animal Hospital, every pet that walks through the door is treated with the utmost care and compassion. Our team is dedicated to creating a supportive and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. As a Fear Free hospital, we strive to ensure that every visit is as stress-free and comfortable as possible for both pets and their families. Our doctors are experts in their fields, combining years of experience with a passion for animal health.
We offer a full range of services to meet the diverse needs of every pet. From routine wellness check-ups and endoscopy to orthopedic surgery (including TPLO/CCL) and cold laser therapy for pain relief and healing, our team is committed to providing the highest level of care. We're excited to announce the addition of Dr. Cindy Purvis, allowing our hospital to offer veterinary services such as Radioactive Iodine Therapy (I-131) for hyperthyroid cats and Synovetin OA injections for dogs suffering from chronic arthritis. Pet owners interested in learning more about these treatment options can contact the hospital for consultation and appointments.
To help make care more accessible, VCA North Division offers CareClub®, a convenient wellness plan that helps clients manage the cost of routine care and stay up-to-date on essential services like vaccinations, dental cleanings, and wellness exams, without the stress of large, unexpected bills.
VCA North Division, an AAHA accredited veterinary hospital, is proud to offer an expanded range of advanced veterinary services to provide pets with the highest level of care. Less than 15% of veterinary hospitals in North America achieve AAHA accreditation, a recognition that ensures our hospital meets the highest standards in veterinary medicine. This distinction gives pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are receiving top-quality care in a facility committed to excellence.

A Partnership for Paws: VCA North Division & Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary
At VCA North Division Animal Hospital, our commitment to exceptional veterinary care has always been at the heart of what we do. But we wanted to do more—especially for the growing number of homeless animals in our community. That’s why we partnered with Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary, a refuge for abandoned, neglected, and rescued animals in need of medical care and forever homes.
Together, we’ve launched a spay and neuter clinic that not only helps reduce pet overpopulation but also serves as an invaluable training ground for new veterinarians. Through this collaboration, rescued cats and dogs from Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary receive life-changing medical care at our hospital, where our experienced veterinarians and skilled technicians perform spay and neuter procedures.
Under the mentorship of VCA’s seasoned professionals, new doctors refine their surgical skills while learning essential aspects of patient care, anesthesia management, and post-operative recovery. This hands-on experience prepares them for their future in veterinary medicine while making an immediate impact on the lives of animals in need.
Through compassion, education, and expertise, our partnership with Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary is improving the well-being of animals and shaping the future of veterinary medicine. For every pet that finds a loving home and every doctor who hones their skills, this collaboration proves that working together truly changes lives—both human and animal alike.
