Joe Peterson, DVM, DABVP (Canine/Feline), earned both his Bachelor of Science degree (1984) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (1988) from Washington State University. He began his veterinary career in equine racetrack medicine in Southern California before transitioning to small animal medicine in 1991.
In 1996, Dr. Peterson purchased a small-animal practice in Spokane, Washington, where he served as a solo practitioner for 11 years, building a successful hospital that he ultimately sold in 2008. With over three decades of experience in the veterinary field, Tami has been dedicated to ensuring the highest level of care for pets and their families. Since 1991, she has served as a practice manager, and since 2008, she has been leading the team at VCA North Division Animal Medical Center, overseeing daily operations and providing support to both staff and clients.
Outside of work, Tami loves spending time outdoors, whether she’s camping, hiking, or gardening, she finds joy in nature. At home, she shares her life with her two Labrador retrievers and a mischievous cat appropriately named “Brat,” who keeps her ...
