What is your role at the hospital?
I am the surgery supervisor.

What is your education?
I graduated from Pima Medical Institute with a veterinary assistant certificate with honors.

How long have you been with VCA Northwest Animal Hospital?
I first started as an intern in February of 2020 and was then hired full time in May of 2020.

Do you have any pets?
I have four pets: Billie, a domestic long-haired calico, Biggie, a Great Dane/hound mix, Daizy, a golden retriever, and Nova, a German shorthaired pointer.

What do you like to do outside of work?
Going to the lake to paddleboard, hiking, camping. I love the outdoors, especially the mountains. When in town, I like to do nails and give the males in the family haircuts. I love to spend time with family.

What do you like most about your job?
Helping out pets and their families throughout their surgery and experiences here with us. Teaching co-workers and helping them.
