Dr. Gabrielle Evans joined the VCA Old Town team in 2023 after graduating with her veterinary degree from Ross University in 2021. She did her undergraduate studies at Jacksonville University and received a B.S in Biology. Dr. Evans grew up in Chesapeake, VA, but as a part of a military family, she moved around a lot. She started in the veterinary world as a shelter volunteer as well as an animal care assistant and dog trainer where her love for animals grew. She is currently Fear Free certified and her professional interests include canine rehabilitation, acupuncture, dermatology and the care of senior pets. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, writing and taking care of her houseplants as well as winding down with a video game.
