Dr. Boswell is no stranger to animal care. She's been a practicing veterinarian since she graduated from Auburn University in 1991, but her involvement with the industry started at the age of 15 (according to her, it's very difficult to pill a T-Rex). From a young age, Dr. Boswell knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian and shared a special bond with animals. To this day, she can remember the names of all the pets in her childhood neighborhood—but none of the names of her human neighbors!
Born and raised in Alabama, Dr. Boswell moved to Georgia in 1996. She primarily worked as an associate veterinarian at several practices until she transitioned to relief work in 2023. Through her work as a relief veterinarian, Dr. Boswell came to know the Pets Are People Too team and decided to make us her new home hospital in August 2025.
When she's not caring for your pets, Dr. Boswell enjoys swimming, watching football, and spending time with her own pets at home. She has a German shepard named Zelda and four cats: Arthur, Muffin, Maddie, and J.C.
