Cynthia has been working in veterinary medicine since 2012. She has received her certification as a veterinary assistant and is working towards furthering her veterinary education, such as Fear Free Certification and a registered veterinary technician license. She is particularly passionate about working with geriatric patients and practicing fear-free techniques with behaviorally challenged pets. She is always looking for opportunities to expand her career journey and finds joy in leading and training the next generation of technicians. She became the hospital manager at VCA Pinnacle in January 2026.
In her personal life, Cynthia values family time with her two kids and husband. Together, along with their two standard poodles, Cordelia Moira and Morticia Amidala, they enjoy spending time outdoors, such as hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains and plenty of time at the beach. Cynthia's favorite way to spend her weekend mornings is with a cup of coffee, a good book, and cuddling Zucchini, her 11-year-old Chihuahua. She also finds joy in spending quality time with her two cats, Penelope and Pinguino, as well as Seniorita Horchata, her bearded dragon.
