Kelly

Client Service Representative

Kelly was born in Smyrna, Georgia, where she lived until the age of three before moving and growing up in Plano, Texas. She attended Collin College. Kelly felt inspired to work in veterinary medicine by her late Aunt Kelly Lindstrom, a former VCA employee who worked in both veterinary medicine and rescue for over twenty years. Kelly first began working with VCA in September of 2016 and has worn several hats in her time here. She's worked as a kennel assistant, a veterinary assistant, and as a client service representative.

Kelly takes an interest in much of what we do in the veterinary field, which is why she hopes to become a veterinarian in the future. Her favorite part of our work is establishing long-lasting relationships with our clients and patients and watching as patients grow up. She's seen many pets grow from their initial puppy or kitten visit into their senior years and cherishes her memories with all of them. She believes every one of our clients should know that we sacrifice much of ourselves for their pet's comfort above all else. They're why we're here, and we want nothing more than to see them happy and healthy at home with you.

At home, Kelly has three pets of her own. Her first is Blue, her old, crotchety, and very opinionated pitbull mix. You can hear her bellowing down the street. Kelly has remarked that she can sometimes leave her ears ringing when she barks right next to her. Then there's Barry, who she describes as a cold and broody domestic short-haired cat. He's very much the king of his own castle. Finally, there's JJ (aka Jorja), her sweet and energetic pitbull and boxer mix. She's her little angel baby, though she's had her trouble-making moments!

If Kelly could be an animal, she would be a giraffe. This, she says, is because they're long and lanky and socially awkward, just like her!

At home, Kelly loves to curl up with a good book, binge-watch her favorite reality shows, anime, and K-dramas, listen to K-pop, search for tickets to the next big concert, and hang out with her closest friends and pets.
