Lauren was born and raised in Baytown, Texas. She has a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of North Texas. She joined VCA in January of 2021.
As our hospital has received more requests for international health certificates, Lauren has played an instrumental part in helping our team compile and complete them. She takes a special interest in ensuring the accuracy of these documents and aiding clients in their travel plans with their furry family. One thing she believes our clients ought to know is that we are always doing our best to meet both your and your pet's needs, and some days that can be a more difficult task than one may think.
Lauren doesn't currently have any pets, but she fondly remembers her bearded dragon, Binx. One day, she hopes to adopt a furry friend of her own, but in the meantime, she enjoys getting to see everyone else's. That's her favorite part of her job! If she could be any animal, Lauren would like to be a sea turtle. She loves the idea of swimming all day in the ocean or sunbathing in the sand whenever she wants.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys baking sweet treats for herself and her friends, watching dramatic and trashy reality television, and reading the occasional novel.
