Many of our team members have had specialized training and received formal credentials for their efforts.
In very complicated cases, we are fortunate to have access to the nation's largest network of VCA veterinarians and board-certified specialists. At our hospital, we have a board-certified Internal Medicine Specialist, with access to even more specialized care at our sister hospital just down the road! In a word: TEAMWORK!

Team Spotlight
Dr. Stephanie Powers is available for urgent care and wellness appointments. Dr. Powers grew up on the South Shore in Norwell and attended high school at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham. She received her BS in Biology from Fairfield University in Connecticut, where she was a captain of the equestrian team. She then attended Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada. Dr. Powers went on to complete a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at the VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in Weymouth.
