Team Spotlight
Dr. Marie Higel earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2007. She happily joined VCA Rock Creek Animal Hospital in 2009.
Dr. Higel is originally from Arizona and has always had a love for animals and a passion for veterinary medicine. She earned her degree in veterinary science from the University of Arizona in 2003, and has worked in the veterinary field since high school. Her special skills and interests include small animal soft tissue surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and small animal acupuncture.
