Jackie grew up with different pets as a child. A pug, chicks, cockatiels, parakeets, turtles, a rabbit, an iguana, and beta fishes. Caring for them as a child gave her responsibility, joy, and companionship. That is when she decided she wanted to be a part of the veterinary field.

She enjoys traveling to different baseball stadiums following her home team LA Dodgers, trying different foods, and traveling. She also enjoys cooking and baking on her time off.
