Sugey began working in veterinary medicine when she joined the VCA Salem team in 2024 as a kennel assistant and plans to pursue her goal of becoming a certified veterinary technician. "As a kennel assistant, I find great joy in interacting with animals and embrace the challenge of stepping up whenever needed. I appreciate the opportunity to learn about different species and their specific needs, allowing me to develop my skills in animal care."
Born and raised in Oregon, Sugey has three cats (Elsa, Zara, and Pantera) as well as a mini donkey named Ramona. Outside of work, Sugey enjoys traveling, listening to music, cooking, and horseback riding.
