Bravecto® Plus Topical Solution is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease and the treatment of infection with intestinal roundworm and hookworm. It also kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and the treatment and control of tick infestations from the black-legged (Deer) tick and the American dog tick for 2 months in cats and kittens 6 months of age and older and weighing 2.6 pounds or more.

Side Effects
Rare side effects include vomiting, hair loss at applicaiton site, itchy skin, diarrhea, lethargy, dry skin, and hypersalivation. If you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Cats & Kittens
Bravecto® Plus Topical Solution should be applied topically as directed by your veterinarian. Wear gloves. The cap is designed to stay on the tube for dosing and should not be removed. See package insert for full details.
Cautions
For topical use only. Avoid oral ingestion. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not contact or allow children to contact the application site until 2 hours post application. Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling the product. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wash hands after use. Use with caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders. Use with caution in cats that are heartworm positive. Has not been shown to be effective in kittens less than 6 months of age. The safety has not been established in breeding, pregnant, and lactating cats. The effectiveness to prevent heartworm disease after bathing or water immersion has not been evaluated. Store this medication below 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Store in the original package in order to protect from moisture. The pouch should only be opened immediately prior to use. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies. If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, call your veterinarian immediately or go to a veterinary emergency clinic. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: swollen lips, tongue, face, airways; difficulty breathing, agitation, profuse salivation, vomiting, widespread hives and itching.
