Choosing to work in the animal field was an easy choice for me. I have had dogs my entire life and caring for them has always brought me great joy and a sense of fulfillment. Caring for and being the voice for animals has been a great passion of mine for as long as I can remember; from exciting new puppies to assisting our pets across the rainbow bridge and every step in between. It's enjoyable to watch each pet and their family grow through the years.
Some of my favorite topics to educate clients on are the importance of monthly prevention, the benefits of proper dental care and their pets' nutritional needs.
I have been in the veterinary field since 2014. I joined the VCA family in October of 2017 where my VCA journey began in the Barkers Hotel in bathing. I transferred to park attendant in late 2018 where I spent a few months getting to know all of our guests before becoming a hotel veterinary assistant in early 2019. Once the pandemic hit in late 2019 and the hotel slowed down, I began training and assisting in the hospital; after the beginning of 2020 I made a complete transfer to the hospital. Since joining the hospital team, my skills have grown; I now assist with surgeries as well as help the front desk and pharmacy when needed.
