Dr. Lucas is a 2014 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship here at VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital. After her internship, Dr. Lucas stayed on in a split position—spending time on both the General Practice Service and Emergency Service, before joining the General Practice team full time. In 2023, Dr. Lucas stepped away briefly to gain other experience, before returning to our General Practice team in 2024 to concentrate on procedures/surgeries.

Dr. Lucas has a special interest in dentistry and soft tissue surgery.
