In Texas, our warm climate is great to live in, but parasites such as mosquitoes, fleas and ticks can transmit disease, and pets need protection all year long. Heartworm disease is a life-threatening disease transmitted by mosquitoes, and is endemic in Harris and surrounding Counties. Ticks and fleas can spread diseases such as Lyme disease and intestinal parasites. Some of these parasites and diseases are not only dangerous to your pet, but family members, as well. These conditions are inexpensive to prevent, and very costly to treat. Ask us how to keep your pet free of these disease-spreading parasites.
We harness the scale and strength of our global network while acknowledging each individual's contribution. We work locally to improve the lives of all who interact with our brand.

We are a 501c3 charitable organization made up entirely of volunteers and sponsored entiredly by adoption fees and donations. Within the organization’s scope and reach, MSRH is dedicated to rescuing every abandoned or lost Miniature Schnauzer that we can and migrating them to a loving forever home. In the interim period, between rescue and adoption, our all-volunteer team provides temporary homes, in a safe and loving environment, while we search for an adoptive home that is the right match for each Schnauzer. We never forget that most adopters see only a snapshot of our overall organization. As such, we strive to ensure a perfect experience to give that snapshot exceptional clarity. Every perfect adoption experience requires a network of committed volunteers, veterinarians, partners, loving adoptive families and friends who pay the love forward with gifts of time, talent and treasure. We want every Schnauzer to have a home. At MSRH, we make it happen….one adoption at a time!
